A fact of life in much of New Jersey, too.  I read a very sobering
article in our local newspaper a few weeks ago.  It was about a retired
couple who were living in a travel van, and exploring the North American
continent.  The writer described the van as being larger than many
Manhattan apartments that rent for in excess of $700 a month.
