Don't be fooled!  They look like that for a while, then they look kinda gawky 
and wierd, then, finally, they start really looking like a horse!
Fiddle just started this year (g).
BK :>Spent a lot of time with her today, de-spooking with
BK :>whatever I had and put the bridle in and started
BK :>introducing her to the pull of a rein..  she through a fit
BK :>when I walked out of the small pen at one point..  This is
BK :>a cute young filly.. :)
She really sounds great, Bob!  Sounds as if she's easy to work with and 
sensible.
BK :>pulling chestnuts and clipping socks. She's also getting
BK :>tied up more and more for a short period of time to a
BK :>hitching post.  
Have you tried cross ties yet?  I never had a problem with them with Fiddle, 
which surprised me.
