 I would say it's a real pain but... ;>

 Where it gets bad is when you find something that does work but
they won't let you get enough of it and instead offer you all you
can take of a more addictive but less effective one.

 Most effective thing I've found is Stadol nasal spray, it's
supposed to be 5x as strong as the same dose of morphine but
it's only a c4 narcotic where as something like norco which has
codone is a c3 and thus more addictive. (ratings run from c5 -
least potential to c1 - pretty much always. morphine is c2)

 Next best is the Duragesic patches and methadone.
