Hello Bob! 25 Apr 10 17:59, you wrote to me: RC>> Perhaps as a stipulation for getting Federal Welfare RC>> payments, the person has to be implanted with a chip, then RC>> when anyone goes to purchase goods and services, they have RC>> to let the cashier wave a wand, if a chip is present, the RC>> transaction details are transmitted to the SSA or IRS or RC>> HHS. Sauer was bemoaning the fact that a Georgia state legislator was proposing legislation to outlaw implanting people with them chips. I merely tossed out several possible examples that big brother could use to justify doing so, up to and including prisoners in pentatentiary, parolees, probationers etc etc. Sauer should be praising the advocation, there has been weirder legislation proposed in all 50. Albeit the idea of chipping criminals has potential for law enforcement but probably oversteps the boundaries of human rights and privacy issues. RC>> or RC>> Same theme as above, but the cashier has to deny the sale.. BK> IOW, make store cashiers cops? Arent they already? Dont they have to check ID for tobacky and booze/beer? Irrelevant, though to the chipping point, it was just a scenario, regardless of how realistic or unrealistic it could be. == Ross Fidonet Feeds Or Fidonet In Your Newsreader: http://www.easternstar.info E-mail: ross(at)cassell(dot)us | Other Places: http://links.cassell.us ...
