When you see the initials "BK," never ever assume that the statement is
accurate.  Cash, on page 212 of his autobiography, says "I couldn't do
either "Welfare Cadillac" or "Okie."  The issue wasn't
the songs' message .

rehearse them with the band before we had to leave for Washington.  The
