From: "Glenn Meadows"
The key is finding a D-Link that works with the Tivo. Their list is
somewhat limited as to compatibility. We got the TIVO 1 that was on sale
thru Target, after the first of the year. $149.00, with a $150.00 rebate.
Just got the rebate.
I tried one or two other adapters, neither worked at all. I am thinking of
getting a compatible USB to wire ethernet adapter and just running a wire
to it. Already have a hole thru the wall to get the cable TV into the room
where the cable modem and router are. Trying to keep the techno-clutter
down in the apartment.
Also, the Vonage phone seems to work really well. Does get a slight bit
"gurrgly" when Andrew is on Xbox live though...
