RW> stage LEnsman," and "children of the lens."

RS> The first one. I think.

Hmmm, interesting.

 RW> I wouldn't see why you'd need to butcher Doc's plots too

RW> NOw Asimov, otoh wouldn't make exciting movies without
 RW> totally butchering them.

RS> I don't think any of Asimov's works has been made into a movie.

YEp, Fantastic Voyage, the docs that got miniaturized in the submarine to
travel through the patient's blood vessels and
fix a problem, and had a time window in which to do it all
in.
That one got made into a movie, and is the ASmiov most folks are familiar
with if they're not real sci fi heads.

RW> DOn't think I ever saw it. But then, I"m disappointed with
RW> most Science Fiction I see on the screen when compared to
RW> the books. And, imho, star wars sucked.

RS> It's on Youtube, if you're interested.
RS> http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZXa4FE3er8I

DOn't do youtube, and probably would walk away disappointed
in it.

RS> Star Wars never was meant to be science fiction.

Yah that's the way I thought about it, but it sure gets
lumped in with it because of what it is.

RS> It was just a fun movie.

iT was alright for an evening's entertainment I guess .
