33.6
-> RT> though. I've never heard of an offer from them about any
-> RT> trade-ins on 14.4 modems.
-> You need to go re-read their WWW site. *ANY* modem can be traded in -
es,
-> your 300 baud doorstop - yes my wife's 1200 baud internal - yes, ANYTHING.
-> Plus, if it is a Hayes product that you are upgrading they will take off
n
-> additional $10.  Sooooo... my wife's full-length internal Hayes 1200 goes
out
-> tonight (I got my return authorization number within 24hrs of placing my
order
-> on the WWW site) and a 56k Accura internal will arrive within two weeks.
-> Other Accura models are available at higher costs (the external is
lightly
-> more than the internal, the business version is the most expensive).
-> Like Lee, I'm not so worried about which 56k technology is in the Accura
or if
-> I can/will ever use it. The Accura will be a major upgrade at a minor
cost.
-> According to the Hayes website the modem will be upgradable for free to
the ITU
-> 56k standard, so eventually this new modem will be standardized ;-)

Yes I know. I wasn't doubting that was a deal. I was just saying the
deal I am getting is I get the 56k modem for free. I'm trading in my
Accura 28.8 for it. Ya can't beat that. And I bought my Accura 28.8
Brand Spankin new for 69.99. So virtually, I'm getting a 56k modem for
69.99. (I only bought this 28.8 about 2 weeks ago, if that) That's
wwhat I call a deal.
