The takeover occurred in 2007, by 2008 Acer owns Gateway, E-Machines and
Packard Bell.

E-Machines via Gateway by the simple fact that Gateway "ate"
e-machnes years earlier. Of course owning the Packard Bell name, I am not
sure that is a plus..
