Yeah, the Convertible was a laptop. It had the display hinging part way up
the unit instead of at the back, so that you could use it in an economy
class airplane seat. I remember using mine on a trip from NZ to Rochester
back in 1990 or thereabouts. It got 8 to 12 hours of running on the battery
technology of the time. With a modern battery of the same physical size it
would run 20 to 30 hours.

The PC Portable was basically a repackaged XT, with floppy-only and a small
amber screen. Portable as in carryable, but a desktop, not a laptop. I
recently retrieved my original Portable from my late father's effects, it
still runs fine...

Even the PS/2 Model 60 and 80 Servers had handles, though I can't imagine why...
