     Thank you Harry for the tip. Server never sees the pentium.
     Trace shows nothing from that work station.
     Mostly, I'm trying to get it to work with a 3c501.
     I have 3 good ones. It is a simple NIC and works
     on the other computers, so I have a net.cfg and drivers that I know
     are ok. I'll try manual irq though.
     I tried the 3c509 on the 386 but had dos compatibility problems. Drive
     recognition and parent dir recog. were screwy. Sometimes I could log
     on once but after logging out the drive table was not restored 
orrectly.
     No problem with the 501. I should be able to set it to irq5 and put the
     blaster on i10.
