.. which makes an excellent toilet roll - that's about all its good for.

I've never seen any book authored by Herbert Schildt which rates anything
better than mental chewing gum. I would recommend steering clear of them -
there are a plethora of other books available which are far better (almost
any of them in fact).

Herbert Schildt is to books on C programming as Batman comics are to Shakespear.
