Yea, my current system is a Dell, I forget the particulars now, but I =
meandered around their Web site from day-to-day until they had the right =
"free" stuff, rebates, extras etc. to match what I wanted/needed.

You can't configure the same system today. With Dell it is =
difficult to do so from one day to the next.
With Dell you have to pay attention to deals. At the time I =
purchased the system it was supposedly 49% off though I don't think Dell =
ever really charges the 100% value.

Show me the full specs, I suspect if you start adding up the other =
things (like 4x the memory and the power supply) it gets there pretty =
quickly. I started out at $700 but ended up at $1179 after tweaking =
things to where I wanted (like the fanless video card and above = mentioned
stuff). The vendor I use is usually very competitive. (it = includes a 2
year warranty as well)

I don't remember the difference at the time but it looks to be =
around $200 now which if accurate would have brought my price to yours =
but I still get the 2007 monitor and other stuff.
