Here are some other places you might find information on FIDONET.
VOCAL is a conference moderated by Valery Frosty, and is authorized by George 
Wimberly, current President of NASVO/VOCAL.
FMS, moderated by David Bloomberg, generally deals with the issues of "False 
Memory Syndrome," but does often extend itself to include topics of a more 
general nature as regards issues of false allegations of child abuse and 
neglect, and of "ritual abuse" cases.
CHILD_ABUSE_ISSUES, moderated by Rick Thoma, offers something of a neutral 
middle ground.  While not specifically oriented toward discussions of false 
allegations, such conversations are regarded by the moderator as being within 
the scope of the conference topic. Teachers, parents, social workers, legal 
professionals, etc., are all encouraged to participate.
Two other conferences, PLEASE and CHILD_ABUSE, are also to be found. These 
are geared primarily toward lending support to survivors of abuse. It is 
suggested, out of courtesy, that "issue oriented" discussion is not entirely 
appropriate in these two conferences.
