subject: Bug Frequency Band

BC: Yo! Guy:
     HI BILL!
GH> .... my 2004 does not cover frequencies from 520 to 760 Mhz...
BC: And because most scannists are like you, that makes the 520-760
BC: MHz spectrum just PRIME for bugs. Less chance of accidental
BC: discoveries that way.
That is a very good point indeed, but what if you have such a bug
near (or in!) your house and at the same time you tune across your tv
dial (or remote control). You may have a small chance to catch them,
right?
(if the bug fall in the audio part of the tv channel and this tv
channel is not in use, of course)
I have a small tv (5 inches screen) with a varactor tuner that
sweep in UHF from around 438 to about 890 Mhz. Needless to say that is
an old TV and sometime i like to play around just for listening at
many telephone comms at the same time....
Also like to watch the local amateur FSTV (occasional)
transmissions on 439.250 Mhz.
By the way, i saw couple of weeks ago a message from you (really
you?) announcing the CE-232 at 149.95$ ... is it right ?
     Cheers,
