Irrelevant..

Microchips could be used and abused... Walmart already uses them in their
distribution supply chain and talk abounds about using Microchips as the
replacement for bar codes and scanners at the store checkout. No problem
there..

Recently in the news, there was a cat that belonged to someone in New
Mexico that turned up in Chicago, turned out the owner had the animal
chipped, again no problem there, and the animal was identified, another
happy ending..

It is not a stretch for chips to be misused as I previously stated.

Perhaps as a stipulation for getting Federal Welfare payments, the person
has to be implanted with a chip, then when anyone goes to purchase goods
and services, they have to let the cashier wave a wand, if a chip is
present, the transaction details are transmitted to the SSA or IRS or HHS.
If one is found to have spent above the Federally provided assistance, that
person gets a knock at the door from a suit..

Normally for privacy issues concerning the govt advocating using (new) tech
to track this, that and more importantly, people, this legislation should
be construed as a breath of fresh air.
