 Yeah, it probably is true. Today's conservatives would have been
 called radical reactionaries in Goldwater's day. As well as
 being uncivilized barbarians.

 Goldwater would be incensed at the right wingers getting rich in
 politics, and outraged at the attacks on the patriotism of
 decorated combat veterans in support of draft dodgers and no
 shows.
