National Socialism doesn't sound threatening either - until you realise that
it's the name of the Nazi party. (Nationalsozialistische Deutsche
Arbeiterpartei (National Socialist German Workers' Party, NSDAP))

BTW - Nazis seldom call themselves Nazis, preferring Nationalsozialisten
(National Socialists).
