Replying to a message of Dave Drum to Ross Cassell: RC>>> Same theme as above, but the cashier has to deny the RC>>> sale.. BK>> IOW, make store cashiers cops? RC>> Arent they already? RC>> Dont they have to check ID for tobacky and booze/beer? DD> That's not being a Keystone. That's to cover their own arses DD> from being busted by the Keystones for illegal sales. Around here the cops routinely get a kid to go into a store to buy tobacco or hooch (usually beer). If he's successful they bust the clerk and the store. IMO the clerk and/or the store should be able to sue the kid and his parents for civil damages. ---* Origin: Bob's Boneyard, Emerson, Iowa (1:300/3) SEEN-BY: 3/0 633/267 640/954 712/0 313 848 @PATH: 300/3 116/901 3634/12 123/500 261/38 712/848 633/267 |
