DC> Could it be that he's scared?

Well, our city did balloon, and there are more nasties here than
ever. Being blind, I'm sure he has had his share of 'well meaning'
 thieves. /-:

DC> He shouldn't be. Everyone has to make that first step for themself.

It was a step he had taken long ago, but needed some configuration to,
or installation of. He asked "How much will this cost me?" I almost
didn't know what to tell him, but "Nothing!"

The shareware is mostly unregister-able, and the call would cost you
 all of a dime... Er, thirty-five cents. <-;

 DC> Please elaborate....

Well, in a small town, you almost have to hide payment for a job in
the persons clothing to avoid the arguments it would cause, and
Huterites - as long as you don't leave the collective - will trip over
themselves trying to help one of their kind.

It's the same kindness, I've encountered in my earliest days, to today
on Fido.

JB> Do you remember when you didn't know what a PATH statement was?

DC> When you come to the fork in the road[path], TAKE I!

... And cut of your Slawson?

DC> All paths[roads] lead to Redmond

NOT!

 DC> Hope this helped!

It amuses.

 DC> ... C:\WINDOWS>DEL *.* I feel better now!

So does General Protection Fault!

... Dave, put those Windows disks down..Dave... DAVE!
