There is a bulb (#12, I think) that is used as a "fuse" in the receive =
line near the T/R relay on the bottom of the chassis. This will =
sometimes blow, or the pins on it will become corroded and cause the low =
sensitivity you describe. Check it for corrosion and continuity and =
think you might just find your problem.

I have a question regarding a Tr4C. It looks, compared with a C line, =
extremely "deaf" or with a very low sensitivity on 80 mtrs band. I have =
still to check the 20 mtrs band because I red the manual and it looks =
that in both the bands the receiver is using a different configuration.
Anybody has any suggestion on the problem, if is is due by =
tubes......to be replaced or what?
