It probably isn't a segment issue, as much as an NDS issue. Clients
that used to use the 3.x server may be looking for a bindery to log
into, and one does not exist by default on 4.x servers. The 4.x server
needs to have bindery context set to recognize calls for a bindery.
You may need to place a SET BINDERY CONTEXT= in your
AUTOEXEC.NCF on the 4.x server, where  is the context of
your server.
