CHAPTER 127
Psalms 127:1
1 A Song of degrees for Solomon. Except the LORD build the house, they
labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman
waketh  but in vain.
Psalms 127:2
2 It is vain for you to rise up early, to sit up late, to eat the bread of
sorrows: for so he giveth his beloved sleep. Psalms 127:3
3 Lo, children are an heritage of the LORD: and the fruit of the womb is his reward.
Psalms 127:4
4 As arrows are in the hand of a mighty man; so are children of the youth.
Psalms 127:5
5 Happy is the man that hath his quiver full of them: they shall not be
ashamed, but they shall speak with the enemies in the gate. CHAPTER 128
Psalms 128:1
1 A Song of degrees. Blessed is every one that feareth the LORD; that
walketh in his ways.
Psalms 128:2
2 For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it
shall be well with thee.
Psalms 128:3
3 Thy wife shall be as a fruitful vine by the sides of thine house: thy
children like olive plants round about thy table. Psalms 128:4
4 Behold, that thus shall the man be blessed that feareth the LORD. Psalms 128:5
5 The LORD shall bless thee out of Zion: and thou shalt see the good of
Jerusalem all the days of thy life. Psalms 128:6
6 Yea, thou shalt see thy children's children, and peace upon Israel. CHAPTER 129
Psalms 129:1
1 A Song of degrees. Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth, may
Israel now say:
Psalms 129:2
2 Many a time have they afflicted me from my youth: yet they have not
prevailed against me.
Psalms 129:3
3 The plowers plowed upon my back: they made long their furrows. Psalms 129:4
4 The LORD is righteous: he hath cut asunder the cords of the wicked. Psalms 129:5
5 Let them all be confounded and turned back that hate Zion. Psalms 129:6
6 Let them be as the grass upon the housetops, which withereth afore it groweth up:
Psalms 129:7
7 Wherewith the mower filleth not his hand; nor he that bindeth sheaves his bosom.
Psalms 129:8
8 Neither do they which go by say, The blessing of the LORD be upon you: we
bless you in the name of the LORD.
