How is your network cabled?
If you leave the new computer physically connected to the network but
leave it OFF do you still get the errors on the DOS clients?
Try using the MS Client for NetWare Networks (its OK for 3.12
networks).
Try swapping the Network card in the new computer.
Cant think of any thing else.
