I bought the Express 288i to replace my Telepath 14.4. Had problems
getting modem configured - it always tried to go to Com3 and IRQ12. Got
Supra Tech support to talk me through ICU reconfigure - but didn't take.
Was told to return modem and get one w/jumpers. Went back thru docs and
learned I had to lock card in ICU before rebooting. Have now got modem
set at proper Comport and IRQ. However, now I cannot connect at higher
than 19200. If I set to 38400 or 57600, then I get gibberish when I call
high speed boards. Does anyone have any advice for me? I am using the
Comit terminal package that came with the modem. Have not tried the
modem from DOS.
