Nope, it's FreeBSD mainly. I do have some OpenBSD machines, but these are
either old (i486) or exotic (UltraSparc) or in production use (firewall),
so I don't really want to start development of software on them. :)

I can offer you that I have a look at the source and try out compiling it
on FreeBSD. But I must admit that I don't have much time to play around
with those things these days. What's the status of the project right now
(i.e. where could I help)?
