subject: TZUTC kludge

Hello All,

I've noticed that my TZUTC kludge is off by 1 hour. It reads -0800, that is
correct in PST but it is PDT now so it should read -0700.

Reading in the docs about the TZ and TZUTC environment variables it is
recommended to set both to get correct time in BBBS. Until now I have not set
either and BBBS knows the correct TZUTC offset except in PDT.

I am unsure how to set those variables and haven't come upon a working combo
using trial and error.. :)

Has anyone figured out the correct pair for your location and if so can you
share? Maybe if I see a working pair of variables I can work out what I need
here on the west coast in pacific daylight saving time.

I have no TZ or TZUTC variables set now and if you look at my TZUTC it will
read -0800 while it is actually -0700 now in daylight saving time.
