Who is doing this? Are the female teachers in elementary
school pushing this sexist dogma?

I think that recent research points out that in the last few
years girls are MORE successful that boys in school and college.

I believe the supreme court settled this issue. It is
interesting to note that there are still a number of state funded
single sex schools in America.
