subject: OMC Outdrive

Just wondering if anybody else has run into the same problem that I have
had. My outdrive thru-hull fitting for the steering cable had a ZERK
fitting on it. Seems it was a "pressed on" zerk, and sometime in the
last few months has come out. I have been unable to find a 3/8"
self-tapping zerk to replace it. It's on a 77'Fiberform with OMC
outdrive. Any ideas? Should I drill it out and put in a larger
self-tapping zerk? Thanks.
