BS> But if you are a master in physics, can you only teach in physics then? You could probably teach in a college or University with a master's in physics, but would need to probably get a Doctor's degree to get tenure with a university. For K thru 12 (Kindengarden through High School graduation), you would need a teaching certificate, which would need some schooling besides the master's in physics, as I understand the current rules. [Temporary "emergency" teaching certificates can be issued to anyone with a bachlor's degree or better *if* a school district states they cannot fill positions. It's been about a year since I've seen "emergency" certificates being issued.... And with those you have to also be working on getting a regular certificate within two to three years while also teaching....] So, the direct answer to your question is: NO. Certifications are for like Math, Science, Music, English, Social Studies, etc., not as narrow as a specific science field, such as physics. BS>> I guess the problem is either in sz.c or fos_os2.c BJ> I haven't looked. If it is in fos_os2.c, then there should be an BJ> equivalent file for the Linux implmentation -- or BJ> atleast that's what BJ> I would expect..... Again, I haven't looked that close at this part BJ> of the code that we are using under Linux. BS> The libxfer.so code seems okay, it's nearly simulear to BS> the lrzsz code.. If I shall be specifially I guess it's BS> the mdm_getblock (or something) there is making trouble BS> (in fos_os2.c). Would you please take a look? I'm BS> really beating me. It will be the weekend before I get to this. I'll try to take a look then. Take care.....
