Nope Dean, I just can't agree that Hitler was the German government and I
do dispute that he was the Nazi party. Started them, led them - yes.
*Was* them - no. That trivializes the evil deeds of a whole bunch of other
people and doesn't give credit where it's due. Certainly Mein Kampf was as
you state, but as the books of L. Ron Hubbard were taken forward by others
(not requiring L. Ron's intervention) so could have happened, if needed, in
this case. I'm not really sure why you make these broad, sweeping
statements and expect the people reading them to find them logical and
acceptable. No debate that Hitler owns the sick ideas as you pointed out,
but I don't for one minute think he carried the whole thing off himself and
everyone else just followed him like a puppy dog! He had quite a cheering
section of co-conspirators.
Well enough of that.
Seems that you got my point which was that you *cannot* seperate the
personal agenda of the leader of an organization from the goals of the
organization. That's why we don't really like HCI. Their stated goals,
while seemingly appropriate to the "average American" are backed by Ms.
Brady who has a rather different personal agenda.
Submitted for your approval:
"Our task of creating a socialist America can only succeed when those who
would resist us have been totally disarmed."

On identifying BSA models:
A guy I know recently asked me about a BSA underlever rifle that he was
thinking of purchasing. I've only been able to examine pictures of the air
gun and have been told that it is worn enough that the majority of the
lettering is not readable. The serial number is legible, though.
L11846
Does anyone know with certainty what the "L" stands for? I've skimmed
through John Knibbs book, "B.S.A. and Lincoln Jeffries Air Rifles" and
couldn't find a reference. The book is a bit frustrating because there is
no table of contents or index!
I've also seen a gun with a "S" prefix to the serial number.
I'm assuming that L=Light Pattern and S=Standard Pattern. Though I've not
seen one it's not much of a leap to also assume that J=Junior Pattern.
Anybody know for sure?
Thanks.
