Not very much, but I worked in a company once that did some mobile development work.

Yes.

No. Nobody does, it's just too painful. But that's not because of the
phones, it's because 99,999% of website designers are complete wankers who
insist on fixed size, so the page never scales on a mobile phone display
properly.

I'd guess "most". This is the fairly-high-end models, though - I
don't know about the cheapest thingamajickies.

SMS (Short Message Service) = text messaging.
