I can send simple text messages from my phone, it's just slow and obnoxious
compared to the laptop.

Some of us think meetings are a waste of time. Every meeting I've been in
for the past 10 years could have been accomplished in 1/10th the time but
people feel the need to drag meetings out. I'd rather have them email me as
they tend to not want to type a lot.

You just described how I use my phone, it receives pages from my computers
telling me when one of them is slacking off.. But I need my laptop to fix
the problem.
