One of the reasons I've never wanted to live in California is because of
its being an earthquake zone. But I worked with a woman from California
who, when I told her that, said, "So you chose New Jersey instead,
where they have hurricanes?"

We caught the snow and the high winds that hit much of the northeast on
the first, although it didn't hit us as bad as it hit New England. I's
in the low seventies today, however; and the snow doesn't seem to have
affected the flowers at all.
