Steve, I lived in that same area (Delaware Bay) for 40 plus years and my
trade is that of a OMC O/B mechanic. I've found that the chemicals are
not affected by the weather, but the extreme cold may affect some, (Not
All) of the seals on various extinguishers. This results in a loss of
pressure, and obviously when that happens...the extinguisher is useless.
Better to bring them inside, out of the cold. They'll be handy if you
need them.
