It took me a half to a hour then had I the 3.17.7 new made Gentoo working and
running as host pc with only work.
The little extra work from install cdrom and the change in fstab and then a new
kernel make by genkernel and the other make of grub2 and etc. for it do the
system to could start up without any problem and have run fine in 3-4 hours
now, and is now on to get some function and programs to be installed for work.
There is now only a little thing there not like to for and it is the router dns
program bind will not be installed togther with openssl there need.
I have too got layman in work on it and got some fidonet stuff on it by layman.
The next for is as host it to make the kernel updated to could work for
iptables and shorewall with function MACLIST_LOG_LEVEL.

While the pc is not near my other computer can I now work on it by ssh in on it
and use Midnight Commander and copy some useful config files on to it. And I
can work on it sitting down and have the way of shift to look on fido pc or the
workng 32bit router and do win7 to be on internet and on Gentoo handbook for
help or any extra informaton.
