subject: 2 problems on my Gentoo L

Hey Gert!

 GA> I got finush building the new Gentoo 3.17.7 as just a host system

I've run into that before when building grub on x86_64. Try rebuilding it and
make sure the build script disables CFLAGS and probably CXXFLAGS. In my build
script for grub I have this line before the 'configure' call;

  unset CFLAGS CXXFLAGS

That made all the difference more than once when building grub on a x86_64-*
host.

Life is good,
Maurice

... Don't cry for me I have vi.
