Gee, Lezlie, I don't have any easy suggestions except to hit the delete key
first and consider reading it second . . . Of course, if you are like me,
there is this horrible fascination that can suck you into reading things
you *reall* don't want to.

Subject: [BR-2] wierd emails from former spouces & inlaws

>
> OK -- this is a rant. Sort of. My X -- whom Shadowcat has had the
disleasure of meeting -- has proven, once again, what a jerk he is. (What in the
h---- was I thinking?)
He has ou daughter on his insurance. He keeps trying to get her to do
something or another -- it is unclear what -- to keep her on it. Ok, this is
a good thing. Shows responsibiltiy.
It is also betweenthe two of thim at this point. So what does he do?
After some IDIOT gave him my e-mail address, he send me daily -- two to reight
copies, mind you-- rantings on how I am somehow at fault for not convincing
my daughter to do something or another -- it is unclear what -- concerning
this insurance he has for her.

OK- so I send them *both* a note saying, this is a good thing, but it's
it's
between to the of two of you and I encourage you to telephone each other
and
arrange whatever needs doing.
I telephone my daughter & tell her that insurance is a good thing, and to
please
call her father.

He then sends a ranting, flaming abusive e-mail accusing me of Horrible
Deeds
and Neglect and and and and.
Then I get an e-mail from *his sister* asking why *she* is getting all
this
mail sent to myself and addressed to owr daughter.

So, I call the owner of this domaine so I can arrange to block his
address.
She says it's just not something we can do while I am using the web
version.
I have to use the web version because I don't own a computer of my own at
this
time.
So, guess what -- in order to keep my idiot X from flooding my e-mail box
with
crapola, I must change my address.

Then swear my freinds to secracy under penalty of spam to never, ever give
it
to the idiot X.

Or, maybe just not have e-mail any more.
No, bad idea.

Any suggestions? Lezlie
