BJ> Yes. GCC has been ported for a long time to OS/2 BJ> (as EMX), and there BJ> is also a full 32 bit port of GCC for Win32 environments. MK> That's what I thought. I think I saw binary dists on a site somewhere. I've seen recent binaries of the EMX port come through the GFD (German File Distribution) network. If you want current OS/2 stuff, and are part of fidonet, consider getting a GFD feed. [Contact me if you need more info or pointers.] BJ> DJGPP still exists.... MK> That one I know. MK> Hm. Portability issues. I think I'll stick with gcc. The advantage of Open Watcom, is that the old Watcom compile allowed cross compiling for Windows, DOS and OS/2. I think it supported both 16-bit and 32-bit compiles..... So, there are somethings that OpenWatcom may allow that GCC will never do... (such as 16-bit compiles)..... Take care.....
