I've seen recent binaries of the EMX port come through the GFD (German File
Distribution) network.  If you want current OS/2 stuff, and are part of
fidonet, consider getting a GFD feed.  [Contact me if you need more info or
pointers.]

The advantage of Open Watcom, is that the old Watcom compile allowed cross
compiling for Windows, DOS and OS/2.  I think it supported both 16-bit and
32-bit compiles.....  So, there are somethings that OpenWatcom may allow
that GCC will never do... (such as 16-bit compiles).....
