| subject: | Re: See caller ID in closed clamshell cellphone? |
From: "Glenn Meadows"
Yes, the RAZR phones, and most likely any that have external LCD's will
show you who's calling.
On my RAZR, I've got photo's of Shelley, and Andrew linked to their phone
numbers, and when they call, the RAZR shows their picture, either on the
external LCD if closed, or on the internal one when I open it. I've got my
phone set to NOT auto answer when I open it. It will also show the CID
number if it's a number not in my phone book. If it matches the phonebook
entry, it will display the persons name as I've entered it.
The newly announced even thinner RAZR's have larger screens, but internal
and external, and even more features.
Of all the phones I've had/used/played with, _I_ like the RAZR the best for
sound quality, ease of use.
