subject: Apple CP/M Disk Images with Aztec C Compiler

Now up for download from the following link:

http://www.cpm8680.com/applecpm/a280105.zip

I was preparing some compilers to send to Dan Wallace on REAL floppies and I
decided to put together an Aztec CP/M 80 compiler work disk set (2 disks)
that fit in the A: and B: drive of an Apple II. I am just about to cut the
disks and decided to put the images and the project that created them on the
cpm8680 website. I used Michael Haardt's cpmtools to build the images. I
have included several programs that can be compiled on them and also a SUB
called CC.SUB which takes care of the build process. This compiler is quite
widely distributed so there isn't much special about this except for the
tiny footprint of this particular configuration.

This will run nicely in AppleWin as well and very quickly as well if one
wishes.

ReadMe for a280105

This directory contains Aztec CZ80 version 1.05 which amazingly fits on 2
single sided Apple II CP/M 80 disks.

The down-side is that the C link library is pretty tiny:

**DIR** supp8080 fprintf fscanf scan fltlib
fopen fread **DIR** fseek fgets fputs
getc putc ungetc getbuff setbuf alloc
format callcpm croot open read write
lseek posit **DIR** blkio rename unlink
atof atol atoi block atol atoi
block string toupper closall lsubs fstub

Two disk images are provided:

a280105.dsk - the work disk - place into drive A:
b280105.dsk - the compiler disk - place into drive B:

To compile anything like the exmpl.c program that is on the work disk type
"SUBMIT CC EXMPL" and press [Return].

Have Fun!
