That is similar to the way udev handled it before systemd came along.  Once I
decide which version of systemd to go with on the next attempt at a rebuild
I'll have to check that out.  At the moment I am still distracted with an
upgrade of the old eeepc due to a power outage the other day.  I hate when that
happens.

I am hoping if things go well to have a working systemd on the
x86_64-atom-linux-gnu up and running tomorrow.  :::knock on wood:::

I still haven't found out what version you are using.  The latest I saw on a
Gentoo Wiki claimed 217 but it looked to be a post from a couple months ago as
it claimed it was using a kv-3.16 which I am sure is no longer true.

I think I'll gamble and go with systemd-218.  It works although I am not crazy
about the tty's but maybe I can tweak that somehow.
