Another thing to watch for is running memory comsuming toys in the back-
ground like memory/resource monitors, active clocks, etc. Once I lost about
four hours worth of typing when I got a "Not enough memory for operation"
message while trying to save my work. The problem? Bart Simpson's face
would pop out of the current windows at random times. Cute, but a disaster.
The more things like this one has open, the more wasted usable memory.
John.
