Hello Russell,
AI>> Wow, vince did a good job with BinkleyTerm.. :) I always used a

RT> Always used a V7 list here ...
I used Portal of Power around '95 and it compiled the nodelist using that
older format. I'm not sure what other software might do so as well since I
never had a need for it.
It's been so long since I needed an external program to compile a nodelist I
can't even remember what software I used.
AI>> I'm looking forward to it, just so there are alternatives for

RT> Doing it in JAVA, is going to be a mission, ... ,
Could be. There isn't a single java app that I use myself. I could be all
wrong on this too.. I just saw mention of it in the dbridge echo, I'm not sure
of Nick's plans. He told me (in the echo) that he plans to fully support linux
and that's all I know for sure.
RT> if you ask me, think
RT> python or Ruby would have been better choices, python being the
RT> language of choice for cross-platform ability ...
I always thought java was the choice for cross-platform software. I don't know
much about it though since I never use it. It's installed here just in case I
do need it and for the benefit of OpenOffice.org.
Ttyl :-),
Al
... If it's not on fire, it's a software problem.
