Well it's early days yet, but I have the basics of a Zmodem
send and receive working.  I haven't exactly worked out how
to make the routines totally flexible so that they can be
used in an interrupt-driven environment, but I took a different
tack and decided that I should be able to specify the logic in
the simplest form that I wanted too, not constrained by the
