OK, then would you like to giggle at my incredible ineptitude?

So I'm at Docs place and go to downloads and go to QWK files and
download something called 1st-something-or-other...

After unzipping it sez to me: this installation is going to be fun and EASY

First it sez go to Program Manager in Windows...

Damned if I can find THAT...

THEN it sez if you don't know the com # just press enter and we find it for
you...
I press enter...

Immediate lock. My curser wont even move...

So much for THAT....

I found in a search that I DO have a copy of multi mate
on my computer...in DOS...damned if I can do anything with it though.

I am on the verge of

Whimpering in frustration
Saying to hell with it
realizing that the cosmos is against me and WANTS me to enter posts on the
fly...
Giving up entirely and taking up knitting as a hobby instead...

I LIKED win 3.11...I could go to DOS and WINDOWS when I wanted...
Windows ME is on a campaign to prevent me from utilizing
DOS...

Damn, drat, mutter....

You need not reply to this infantile wail...I just am typing this in an
effort to keep myself from kicking something electronic.
