Can't help. Just mention when I got an Amiga 500 in 1989 with a similar
problem. I had to return the first and also its replacement. Although
both worked fine they both wouldn't play a specific demo. I really had a
hard time to return the second one because the clerk couldn't believe two
Amigas sold to me wouldn't work.
Anyway, got a third and that would play the demo. May be it was from a
different plant or used a chip from a different manufacturer responsible
for the problem.
Oh. And the very first Commodore 64 I bought late 1983 just had garbage
on the screen when just turning on. Had it replaced and that one served
me well for the next 6 years until I sold it.

I use a Unix based operating system, which means I get laid almost as often
as I have to reboot my computer.
