It's not the same Tyco! The Tyco we now have originally was named
Wheelebrator-Frye before they changed name. I know because I used to
work directly across their private aircraft hangar. We never knew what
kind of business they were in (or what kind of people they were) until
much, much later. They always had their private jets warming up in the
morning until a couple of Checker limousines showed up from Hampton, NH.
A few guys in suits carrying briefcases stepped out and boarded the
aircraft. Had nothing to do with Drake. I couldn't afford the new Drake
TR-7 then so I ran my old C line. I still have it.

John -

I knew Tyco sounded familar to me. Aside from the T-R
relay that is!

I have a T-4XB with blue "C-F Networks - div of Tyco"
filters and a 17k serial number. So that puts it right
about in the middle of the run. A later B has "Network
Sciences" silver filters and a 19k serial number, or pretty
near the end of "B" production.

Guessing earlier units had "C-F Networks" filters before
Tyco bought them out. (Like they did Potter & Brumfield and
a hundred or so other companies.!)
