Many millenia ago long before we had scientific weapons people fought wars.
Cave men used sticks and rocks. It is part of the human condition to fight.
That isn't necessarily a good thing, but it is a fact. If we gave up our
nukes we'd be vulnerable to those who haven't given up theirs.
