Hello Maurice,

I'm sure others could be happy with what you're using as well, if you could
bring it to somewhat of a user level application where it will unpack the
messages for you rather than having to do everything manually.

The main reason I still use golded is because of the area list that displays
each area you "collect" messages for, how many new messages you have unread,
and how many messages are in the area total. This would require the ability to
have "message groups" and "message areas" that stay on your machine, not just
reading the area tag in each individual message in each individual packet. Then
if it shelled out to (editor of choice here) for reading, writing, replying,
etc.. that would be fine. Unfortunately golded doesn't do that, and forces you
to use it as a reader. At least it lets you use an editor of choice to write,
and I'll just have to deal with the reader not displaying things properly
(unless I reply to it) until something better comes along. . :)

Regards,
Nick
